How do I register for FamZoo and order cards for my family?

You can register for FamZoo and order cards for your family directly from the Claremont Savings Banks Digital Banking site.

If you are using Claremont Savings Banks Online Banking, sign in and follow these steps:

  1. From the menu on the left of the webpage:

    Click on the New to FamZoo? Register entry.

  2. Follow the FamZoo screens to register your family and place your initial card order.

If you are using Claremont Savings Banks Mobile Banking, sign in and follow these steps:

  1. Tap on More in the lower left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap on New to FamZoo? Register entry.
  3. Follow the FamZoo screens to register your family and place your initial card order.

Note: if you are unable to complete your card order through the final checkout screen, you can resume it later. Just sign back into FamZoo when ready, and you’ll pick up the pending order right where you left off.

How do family members sign into FamZoo?

Family members can sign into FamZoo with their FamZoo family name, member name, and password via any of the following three options:

  1. Claremont Savings Bank’s Digital Banking:
    • Online — Select the FamZoo link from the menu on the left of the web screen.
    • Mobile — Select More at the bottom of the screen to open the Menu. Then then select the FamZoo link.
  2. FamZoo.com:
    • Select the Sign In link at the top of the page.
  3. The FamZoo app.

Typically, only parents will use option one, and kids will use options two or three.

Note: Parents can update the member name and password for any family member by following the instructions here.

How do I reload my FamZoo card from my Claremont Savings Bank account?

You can transfer funds from your Claremont Savings Bank account directly to your FamZoo card.

Note: Most families load only the primary funding card, but there are times when loading the other cards directly is handy — like loading a teen’s card via direct deposit from a summer or part-time job.

External Account Setup

Prior to the first transfer, you must set up your FamZoo card as an External Account in Claremont Savings Bank’s Digital Banking as follows:

  1. Lookup the routing and account numbers for your FamZoo card.
    1. Sign into FamZoo as a parent.
    2. Select Accounts from the Bank menu (Online) or at the bottom of the screen (Mobile).
    3. Select the balance of your card to get to the Transactions screen.
    4. Select Card Information in the lefthand sidebar (Online) or in the menu (Mobile).
    5. Note the card’s 9 digit routing number and 16 digit account number for the next step below.
  2. Add your FamZoo card as an External Account in Digital Banking.
    1. Sign into Claremont Savings Bank Digital Banking.
    2. Online — Select View Accounts link on the left side of page.

      Mobile — Select Menu then select View Accounts.

    3. Select the + symbol in the My Accounts header.
    4. Select External Account.
    5. Enter the external account details for your FamZoo card:
      • Account Name: Enter a short nickname that you will easily recognize later when making transfers, like “FamZoo Card”.
      • Receiver Name: This will be the name of the FamZoo cardholder. Usually your own name.
      • Bank Name: Enter “FamZoo”.
      • Account Type: Choose Checking.
      • Routing Number: Enter the 9 digit routing number for your FamZoo card found in the Lookup step above.
      • Account Number: Enter the 16 digit account number for your FamZoo card found in the Lookup step above. Note: this is not the same as the 16 digit number printed on the face of your card.
    6. Select Save to review the Payee details.
  3. Verify the external account for your FamZoo card. The verification process involves confirming 3 micro-transactions that include debits and credits (less than one dollar) to your FamZoo card. The micro-transactions can take up to 3 business days to appear on your FamZoo card.

    To complete verification, follow these steps:

    1. Lookup the micro-deposits in FamZoo:
      • Sign into FamZoo as a parent.
      • Select Accounts from the Bank menu (Online) or at the bottom of the screen (Mobile).
      • Select the balance of your card to get to the Transactions screen.
      • Scroll through the history until you see the micro-transactions.
      • Note the amounts and if each was a debit or credit for the confirmation step below.
    2. Confirm the micro-deposit amounts in Claremont Savings Banks Digital Banking:
      • Sign into Claremont Savings Banks Digital Banking.
      • Online — Select View Accounts link on the left side of page.

        Mobile — Select Menu then select View Accounts.

      • Select Confirm External Account.
      • Select the FamZoo account from your list of accounts.
      • Enter the micro-transaction amounts noted in the Lookup step above and select Confirm Account.

Transferring Funds

Once the external account setup is complete, you can choose your FamZoo card account as a destination for transfers within Claremont Savings Banks Online or Mobile Banking.

To transfer funds to your FamZoo card:

  1. Sign into Claremont Savings Banks Digital Banking.
  2. Select Move Money from the menu.
  3. Select Start New Transaction.
  4. Choose the account to send money from.
  5. Choose your external FamZoo card account to receive the funds.
  6. Enter the amount to be transferred, when the transfer should occur, and add an optional note.
  7. Select Continue.
  8. Review and confirm the transfer information then select Submit.

The transferred funds will appear on your FamZoo primary funding card in 1 to 3 business days.

How do I move funds back to my Claremont Savings Bank account?

To move funds from your primary funding card back to your Claremont Savings Bank account:

  1. Sign into Claremont Savings Banks Digital Banking.
  2. Select Move Money from the menu.
  3. Select Start New Transaction.
  4. Choose Your FamZoo Card account to send money from.
  5. Choose the Claremont Savings Bank account that will receive the funds.
  6. Enter the amount to be transferred, when the transfer should occur, and add an optional note.
  7. Select Continue.
  8. Review and confirm the transfer information then select Submit.

The transferred funds will appear in your Claremont Savings Bank account in 1 to 3 business days.

Note: to remove funds from your FamZoo cards, you can also use any of the supported FamZoo unload options listed here.
